Why do we love it, you ask?
If you are not familiar with this grape variety, we recommend you give it a try because there is something very sexy about drinking silky, aromatic Spanish wine and doing Spanish-y things.
With a crisp, zesty finish, just serve it chilled and pile up the tapas. Pull out your castanettes and you can party with it like a Spaniard, which means all night. Olé!
This wine is going to make these types of food delish…and vice versa!
The long version.
Impress your friends. Impress yourself.
Region: Rioja, Spain
The fruit, hand-harvested in early September, reaches the winery within two hours of harvest in 18 kg crates. The grapes are de-stemmed and macerated prior to a light crush and fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, to retain flavour and freshness.
It has a clean, bright, pale yellow appearance with green hues and aromas of white fruit and tropical fruit with floral nuances.
On the palate it shows well integrated acidity, good concentration and balance. The freshness and fleshy texture of the stone fruit notes provides a great sense of harmony, yet with a beautifully crisp, zesty finish.
