Thierry and Guy sound more like they would be designing skinny jeans and silk bomber jackets but they are actually the mastermind winemakers behind the Fat Bastard label and they have produced a gem of a Malbec from Argentina. There is no need to feel nervous about a Malbec – it is a cool alternative to Shiraz or Cab Sav and it is massive in Mendoza, Argentina.
And of course, when we think Argentina, we think meat, and so does this Malbec. Get your friends over and BBQ every meaty thing you can get your hands on and eat it straight off the grill with this juicy red. Later in the night order some pizzas and have another couple of bottles.
This wine is going to make these types of food delish…and vice versa!
