Plantagenet Three Lions Sauvignon Blanc

At only $228 for a dozen, have this ready for when friends drop over.

Why do we love it, you ask?

Keep your eye out for the re-emergence of Sav Blanc this summer as the real players make seriously good-drinking Sauvignon Blanc that is fit for purpose – also known as summer!

James Halliday gives it 91 points and says, ‘There’s plenty of tropical fruit to keep confirmed Sauvignon Blanc drinkers happy, and enough grapefruit on the finish to appeal to a wider audience. Well made, and good grapes to start with.’

We agree James, everyone will love this.

The long version.
Impress your friends. Impress yourself.

Grape: Sauvignon Blanc

Vintage: 2017

Region: Great Southern, Western Australia

Alcohol: 12.%

Starbright, pale lemon.

You will get aromas of tropical stone fruit, white peach, guava, lemon blossom, and fresh dill.
White peach, ripe lemon, red grapefruit lead to a flavoursome yet well balanced palate. Well integrated ripeness, refreshing acidity, this wine has a crisp finish with citrus, stronefruit and river pebble minerality lingering. An excellent example of cool climate Sauvignon Blanc.
A dry Winter and mild Spring was followed by a warm growing season with welcome rainfall in December and January leading to full, healthy canopies enabling excellent yields and great flavour development.
