Why do we love it, you ask?
Keep the summer vibes alive with this well-balanced, salmon pink ripper all the way from the Pays d’Oc. The French started the Rosé revolution and we are going to finish it. A particularly good match with a sushi and sashimi platter, share it around liberally.
It is perfectly dry with elegant red fruit aromas of raspberry and a fresh fruity finish. Do not cellar this – drink it right now. Make summer last that bit longer.
This wine is going to make these types of food delish…and vice versa!
The long version.
Impress your friends. Impress yourself.
Region: Pays d’Oc
Salmon pink in the glass with an elegant red fruit nose and aromas of raspberry. Well balanced with a concentrated impression and a fruity finish. The terroir of warmer and matitime location shows in this wines full bodied and rich texture and flavours.
Grown in the Pays d’Oc region of South of France, which benefits from the Mediterranean climate of hot, dry summers for a perfect maturity of the coasline and humidity and cool temperatures to produce grapes packed with fruity aromas from the Black Mountains. The 100% Grenache for this wine were harvested at night in the lower tempratures to prevent oxidation and then, following to the saignée process, the juices stayed in contact with the skins for a short time before being drained off, so they absorb all the aromas and beautiful colour from the skins. The fermentation was carried out at low temperature to retain the subtle fruit flavours. Then the wine remained on its fine lees for up to two months and is stirred periodically providing a smooth texture.
It has a pale salmon colour with a hint of pink. It is light and refreshing on the palate. Lots of juicy berries and a hint of fresh watermelon.
