Escarpment’s aim is to continually produce the very best of tomorrow’s definitive New World wines. Situated just 5 kilometres east of Martinborough village, Escarpment’s 24 hectares of distinctive alluvial gravel, terraced land stretches out along the banks of the Huangarua River.

This wine is 100% Martinborough Pinot Noir fruit, grown on the alluvial gravel terraces for which the district has become famous. Fruit driven, soft and approachable early in its life without the need for extended bottle ageing. Crimsonred in colour with aromatics of red fruits and earthy notes. The palate is soft and elegant with flavours of blackcurrant and cherries.
