Welcome to the world tour that comes to you
If you have seen enough of your mates filling their social feeds with pics from glamorous far-flung destinations this winter, this is the perfect remedy.
We have devised our own trip around the world using wine and you can do it too!
Put your passport away, because here’s the world that comes to you:
Beau Mayne Rouge
You’re in fine company with this Bordeaux gem. Dourthe was established in 1840, so like yesterday, and now owns six Chateaus in Bordeaux. Gorgeous label – so Frency, so chic.
Castillo Labastida Rioja Madurado
Wine has been made in Rioja, Spain since 873 and we can thank the Monks for placing Riojan wines on the map during Medieval times, apparently they had quite a taste for it!
Fat Bastard Malbec
Those crafty Argentinians sure now how to make a fabulous Malbec. When you drink this why don’t you try imitating the iconic Eva Peron, or imitating Madonna playing Eva Peron. Whichever.
Wild Rock Hawkes Bay Red – NZ
Wild Rock is the second label of the wildly successful Craggy Range winery, these guys are amazing at producing some of the country’s best reds. Yeah bro, sweet as. (Except not sweet, generous on the palate with fine dusty tannin.)
La Vis Simboli Teroldego Rosso
Ciao Bella! Have a romance with an Italian right there on your couch, one that is soft and well-rounded. You might even take this one over to meet mama.
Lamura Nero d’Avola
The largest island in the Mediterranean, these guys have been making wines for 2,500 years! Mamma Mia, no wonder this wine tastes so damn good.
We can’t guarantee it will stop the sun-drenched, instaworthy memories flowing on your socials but buying this case will make it a whole it easier to bare and a hella lot more fun. Just selfie yourself getting into them!
